Yes! Even in Tennessee, we have covered bridges...well at least one. I was out riding with some friends today, and saw several interesting things, with this covered bridge in Fernvale being one of them. Not sure how many covered bridges we have in TN, but I found one.
It was a beautiful day and a great week. Heading to Boston tomorrow for a meeting all week, so my Sunday ride is out, but I was able to take my bike with me this week to Memphis and I rode a couple of times with the Memphis Hightailers. They were great, and will definitely do that again.
I also rode on Friday morning with a couple of clients, which is a great way to spend time with them at 6:00 a.m. My total mileage for the week is 192 miles, and YTD is 1284.
So, I am feeling pretty good about being prepared for the Trace ride. I rode 63 miles today, would have been closer to 70, but had a flat near the end,and called the sag wagon ( the wife ). I have since replaced the tire and tube. So that's the bad.
And The Alpaca.. who knew we had Alpaca in middle TN??? See the pictures below.
